Backup and Restore Instructions

Here are the recommended steps to backup your device memory to MMC/Mass Storage or Memory Card (step 1) and the recommended steps to restore the data back to your device memory (step 2). This should be done before updating your device firmware.

 

     Backup your device memory

 

From the main menu screen:

 

       A. Select Tools                          B. Select Utilities                     C. Select Memory

 

                       

 

D. Using the Left Soft Key, select Options and select Back up phone memory.

 

 

 

E. The option, Create backup of phone memory on mass memory/memory card will appear. Using the Left Soft Key select Yes.

 

 

 

F. A backup will be created.

 

 

We recommend performing this back up before performing any software upgrades.

 

 

 

   Restore data from your MMC/Mass Storage or Memory Card

 

From the main menu screen:

 

       A. Select Tools                          B. Select Utilities                     C. Select Memory

 

                       

 

D. Using the Left Soft Key, select Options. The option Restore from mass mem. or Restore from card will appear. Select the appropriate option.  

 

 

 

E. Using the Left Soft Key, select Yes and your data will be restored to your phone memory.
