Discover N-Gage in your Nokia N85
With your new Nokia N85, you have full computer power in a sleek design, keeping you connected to your online life. Along with its excellent hardware features, your new device should also have the N-Gage application installed along with fourteen pre-installed game demos.
This article will help you get started with the N-Gage offering in your new N85.
What is N-Gage?

To start gaming, first launch the N-Gage application. Look for the blue icon on your device, either on the top level or in the applications folder.
When you start the application for the very first time, there will be a delay as the pre-installed games are recognized and set up on your device. Don't worry, this will only happen once.
Once this is done, you'll find yourself in the N-Gage application with five different tabs to explore: Home, My Games, My Profile, My Friends, and Showroom.
Installing Games
Navigate to the My Games tab and you'll see a number of game logos, representing game trials that are already on your device. The first time you visit here, some or all of the game logos may be grayed out, meaning they have already been loaded onto your device but still need to be installed.
Go ahead and click one of the grayed-out games to install it and follow the on-screen instructions. We always suggest you install games to your mass memory, rather than device memory. There is no need to install all of the games at the same time, which can take a while - instead, just try the ones you'd like to try first! The other games won't go away.
Once the game trial has been installed, go ahead and start it up and start playing!
Using Your VoucherMost Nokia N85 devices should include a free game Activation Code to convert one of your game trials to a fully-enabled game.
Depending on what part of the world you are in, this voucher can be used on any of your pre-installed N-Gage games. To use your voucher, go ahead and scratch off the gray covering the Activation Code. Then launch the game indicated on your voucher, and look for the Purchase screen.
Next, enter the Activation Code on your voucher into the dialog box. Remember, the first number in an Activation Code is usually a Zero, not the letter 'o'. Once activated, you'll have full access to the complete game.
Getting More GamesBesides the ten or so different game trials that are pre-installed on most Nokia N85 devices, there is a whole new world of additional N-Gage games to try and buy, with new ones being released all the time.
To find additional N-Gage games to try, navigate to the Showroom tab within the N-Gage application, select 'Options' and hit 'Update Now.' This should populate your Showroom with all of the latest N-Gage games.
