Update your device software
Follow the instructions below to update your device software using a Windows PC. Alternately, bring your device to a Nokia Service Center for assistance.
- Download and Install Nokia PC Suite on your PC, if it is not already installed. This is not mandatory but highly recommended.
PC Suite is a software program for your PC that will help you easily install the N-Gage application to your N-Gage compatible device. - Download and install Nokia Software Updater on your PC
IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure to back up all data from your device (such as contacts, images, music, etc.) before upgrading your device software. For more information on this, visit Nokia device software support. - Start PC Suite on your PC
- Connect your device to your PC using a USB cable
- Click the Update Phone Software icon on the main PC Suite window to begin the update process
