Install N-Gage on Your Mac
The N-Gage application should automatically begin downloading to your computer’s desktop. If your download does not start automatically after a few seconds, click here to restart the download.
Installation Instructions
Install Using Mass Storage/Data Transfer Mode
  1. Connect your device to your Mac using a USB cable.
  2. On your device, select Data Transfer or Mass Storage Mode (refer to your manual if you do not know which mode to use to transfer files). Your device should now appear on "My Computer/Finder" as an external drive or removable disk.
  3. Copy the N-Gage install file (.sisx) from your computer to a folder on your device's mass memory or memory card (such as the Other folder).
  4. Disconnect your device from your computer.
  5. From the File Manager application on your device (under the Tools menu), navigate to the memory card tab.
  6. Open the N-Gage install file to start the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions on your device. It may take several minutes or more to install the application, so please be patient. You will be notified when the installation is complete.
  7. Now you're ready to Create a Player Name and visit the Showroom.

Usage of the N-Gage application is governed by certain terms and conditions, which each user must agree to upon registration and adhere to during their use of the software.

IMPORTANT NOTES

The Nokia N81 device has been released in country-specific variants. Unfortunately, the N-Gage application is not currently compatible with the Nokia N81 and the N95 8GB that were released in China, or the Nokia N95 8GB available through certain operators in North America. Check with your service provider for more information.

N-Gage services are network-dependent and require network support. In order to be able to use these services, you must ensure that your service provider supports data traffic delivery (GPRS) and that you have subscribed to a GPRS service, or that you have access to a WLAN (wireless network). Some networks have limitations that may affect your ability to use the services. Check with your mobile service provider for more information.

It is possible to install the N-Gage application using a Bluetooth connection; however we recommend you use PC Suite or the Mass Storage Method to install your games, as described above.
